The earrings look exactly as I expected. They are delicate and pretty, but unfortunately the way the hook is on the hoop makes it very difficult to both open and close, especially when it is on, to the point where I donβt think I will be wearing them.
Sorry to hear this Deb! I see from your order it was for the stainless steel option for these earrings. I agree due to their small size the steel ones are more tricky compared to our other metals due to the stiffness of steel so we can replace them with the softer sterling silver option for you if you'd prefer.

14k Gold Fill
Gold filled jewellery is an affordable alternative to solid gold that is durable, tarnish resistant and wearable for people with sensitive skin. It is hypoallergenic. It is made with a thick layer of gold that has been bonded over a base metal. The thick layer will never wear off. It will not tarnish.

Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is .925 silver with a .075 copper additive. It is an affordable version of pure silver. Sterling silver is suitable for people with sensitive skin. It is hypoallergenic. Being real silver it will tarnish in humid conditions but it can be easily cleaned to restore it back to its original quality with a silver polishing cloth.
14k Rose Gold Fill
Rose gold filled jewellery is very pretty, durable, and tarnish resistant. It is made with a thick layer of rose gold (which is a combination of solid gold, silver and copper) that has been bonded over a base metal. The thick layer will never wear off. It may tarnish lightly in humid conditions due to the trace amount of copper however it is easy to clean off with a polishing cloth.

Stainless steel is our most durable and maintenance free option. It is a dark silver colour and is made from solid, medical grade stainless steel. It will not tarnish and is hypoallergenic. It is ideal if you live in a humid climate (as it won't ever tarnish) or you want to wear your jewellery all the time (including in the shower or ocean).
Can I get these earrings wet?
We recommend removing before swimming and showering because this design uses a translucent crystal and soap, dirt and water may get trapped in the gap between the crystal and the wire.
If you select these earrings in sterling silver keep in mind all silver jewellery oxidises when exposed to water but it is easily removed with a polishing cloth.
